Have fun learning how to paint elements of the garden in watercolor. Join published author and artist Sally Towers-Sybblis as she leads you through a variety of techniques on how to paint with watercolor in a journal format. This class requires no previous experience and is a good starting point if you have never painted before.

Watercolor Paint brushes: a ½” wash brush, a number 8 or 10 round brush, a number 4 or similar size round brush. Your round brushes must come to a good point.
Paint Palette (Dollarama has an inexpensive palette for $1.25)
A size 01 black micron pigma pen (Michaels carries these)
Some paper or a notepad for taking notes
Watercolor paints. Colours: yellow, rose, burnt sienna, black, ultramarine blue, pthalo or Prussian blue, crimson or scarlet red. The tubes are best. You can get a set from Staples. They are Staedtler Brand. You get a good selection of 10-12 colours in the set for around $10. The expensive brands are okay too!
A Watercolor journal. Suggested journal: Strathmore Watercolor journal or Strathmore Visual Watercolor Journal approx. 8×6” in size. I believe Michaels carries these. Call first.
