Description
I find myself very intrigued by this dark mysterious bird the raven. When I’m out in nature walking or hiking, I pay attention to the birds around me. This bird is one I see over and over so I decided to paint it. Because of the colour I used in it’s body, I thought I would paint a moon in the background to provide more mystery and accent his head.
The symbolic meaning of a raven is prophecy, insight, transformation, and intelligence.
